LED Runway & Stage Rental — Community Fashion Show, Mall at Bay Plaza
The challenge: A community fashion show at the Mall at Bay Plaza in the Bronx — featuring young models, a live DJ, hair and makeup teams, and a performance from the Bronx Dance Theater — needed a runway and stage build worthy of the production the organizers had planned, on a budget stretched thin by every other piece of the show.
What we delivered: We built the runway and staging for the event, and when the organizers found themselves short on the funds needed to bring in an LED wall as a show-stopping backdrop, we stepped in and sponsored a set of decor towers at no cost — helping the show go on exactly as planned.
Working through demand: The LED wall itself was a genuine question mark for a while. It was tied up in another client's pending order, and rather than promise something we couldn't guarantee, we kept the organizers updated in real time as availability shifted. When the wall ultimately wasn't available, our sponsored decor towers stepped in as a strong alternative — the kind of on-the-fly problem-solving that comes from being upfront about what's actually possible.
The result: A full production day — model hair and makeup, volunteer check-in, a kids' runway rehearsal, and a dance performance — building to a show the organizers called "Slay the Catwalk." The event closed with the runway and stage delivered, set up, and struck without a hitch, and a client relationship that carried on well past the event itself.
