Candyland Runway — School Fashion Show, Camden, NJ
In April 2026, a youth empowerment organization staged a candyland-themed fashion show in a school gymnasium in Camden, New Jersey — and gave the students a runway most professional models never get. The gym's far wall became a candy arch strung with oversized Skittles, Sour Patch and lollipop props, and running straight out of it: 44 feet of glowing LED catwalk.
The build: A 4ft x 44ft LED runway laid floor-level down the length of the basketball court — long enough that a walk down and back is a real runway moment, low enough that no stairs or ramps were needed for young models. Color-set to play with the theme: candy greens, yellows and blues rolling down the runway's length.
The weekend double: This was night two of a back-to-back weekend — the same organization ran a show at a school in Englewood, NJ the evening before (that build is its own story). Two gyms at opposite ends of the state, two full installs and breakdowns, one weekend, one crew. A repeat client who knows exactly how the runway transforms a school gym is the best kind of repeat client.
