LED Dance Floor Rental — North Hempstead Country Club, Port Washington
The challenge: What started as a summer pool party at North Hempstead Country Club got rained out before it ever happened. Rather than let the booking disappear, the event resurfaced months later as a fall club event — with the same planning questions still very much in play: how big should the dance floor be, and how do you install one properly over a venue's existing flooring?
What we delivered: We supplied a 20ft x 20ft LED dance floor for the rescheduled event, working through both a floor-size decision and an installation detail together with the venue's team. Uncertain of the final guest count, planning started smaller before settling on the larger floor — and along the way, we walked through whether to lay the dance floor directly over the venue's existing carpet or set it up on the wood floor underneath, so the final install would fit properly with the room as it was actually configured.
Working around real constraints: Powering a 20x20 floor takes more lighting than our standard weekend inventory could always cover on short notice, especially with other events already booked the same weekend. Rather than turn the upgrade down, we brought in additional lighting specifically to make the larger floor possible, so the client's plans weren't limited by our schedule elsewhere.
The result: A properly sized dance floor delivered on the club's terms, with setup and breakdown scheduled around the venue's own event calendar — including a next-morning swim meet — so the space was ready for whatever came next.
