LED Dance Floor Rental — The Waterview, Monroe CT
The challenge: A 24ft x 32ft floor — 768 square feet, 192 panels — dropped into the exact center of the Main Ballroom at The Waterview, in a room that was already dressed for dinner and already rigged with a full truss of production lighting. Two things make that harder than an empty room: you cannot move the tables, and you are about to compete with several kilowatts of stage lighting pointed at your floor.
What we delivered: The full 24ft x 32ft, centerd, level, and bright enough to hold its own under the rig.
Building around a set room: The first photo below is the build in progress, and it shows the actual working condition: linens down, centerpieces out, chairs in place, and our crew laying 192 panels through the middle of it. There is no version of this job where the room gets emptied first. The frame goes down in sections, gets leveled against the ballroom’s own floor, and the lit tops follow — all of it within arm’s reach of glassware.
Holding up under a lighting rig: Plenty of lit floors look excellent in an empty room and disappear the moment a production rig comes up. Ours is lit from underneath at full panel density rather than washed from above, so it stays legible as a floor with its own color even with the truss running. In the wide shot you can see both at once — the rig doing its job overhead, the floor still clearly reading blue.
