LED Dance Floor Rental — The Green Gala, Connecticut Convention Center
The challenge: When longtime client Powerstation Events began planning The Green Gala at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, they needed a dance floor big enough to anchor a room built around a massive disco ball and giant screens — and a disco theme that demanded the lighting to match.
What we delivered: We built a 28ft x 40ft LED dance floor — the largest dance floor project we've completed anywhere in the tri-state area to date — programmed with a multi-colored, Saturday Night Fever-style lighting pattern to bring the disco theme to life under the room's full production setup.
The logistics: A floor of this scale isn't a same-day job. Our crew installed the full floor a full day ahead of the event and returned to break it down the following day after a post-midnight strike deadline — the kind of multi-day scheduling that comes with building at this size.
The result: A dance floor that matched the scale of the event around it, giving the disco ball and screens a stage-sized canvas to play off of, and closing out a long-running planning process (the project first came together nearly eight months earlier) with a night the client's team was still talking about afterward.
