LED Stage Rental — Wedding Reception, Aqua Turf Club
The challenge: When planning their reception at Aqua Turf Club's ballrooms in Plantsville, the couple wanted a stage that would give their DJ setup real presence — without overcommitting on scope before they'd nailed down the rest of their decor.
What we delivered: We worked through several configurations together before landing on a tiered LED platform: an 8-inch-high center stage flanked by two 16-inch-high side platforms, creating a layered, elevated look perfect for a DJ booth. The lighting is fully color-adjustable on the fly, so the couple could fine-tune the palette as their final color scheme came together — no need to lock in a color months in advance.
The night itself: The stage earned its keep well beyond the DJ booth. A live Dhol drum line performed on the tiers during the reception, with the platforms lit in the wedding's pink-and-white palette — then, once the performance wrapped, the lighting switched over to changing colors and the guests themselves took over the stage to dance on it. One build, three acts.
The planning process: Wedding planning is full of moving pieces, and this rental was no exception. What started as a conversation about a larger setup — backdrop, DJ facade, and more — was scaled back through a few rounds of discussion into a simpler, more focused platform that still delivered real visual impact for the dance floor area. We also walked the couple through optional add-ons along the way (an LED bar, glow decor, accent tables) so they could make an informed call on what fit their event and their budget.
The result: A clean, modern staged platform that gave their DJ a real focal point in the room, with lighting that could shift to match the night's mood — delivered, set up, and struck without the couple having to think twice about logistics.
